Before Your Visit
Do I need a referral to start physical therapy?
No.
How long is the first appointment?
1 hour.
During Treatment
Will I be with my therapist for the whole session?
Yes. Sessions at Vella Physical Therapy are one-on-one — your therapist is present for the evaluation, hands-on treatment, and exercise instruction rather than rotating between multiple patients at once.
How many visits will I need?
Everything varies based on the reason you're seeking treatment. Because you're having 1-on-1, hour-long sessions, we're able to accomplish more than a conventional physical therapy approach.
What if I need to reschedule?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you're unable to cancel within 24 hours, you'll be charged for the session. If you're able to reschedule within the same week, the cancellation fee is waived.
Insurance & Payment
What insurance does Vella PT accept?
Vella PT is an out-of-network provider. If you have out-of-network benefits, we will provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance company in order for you to receive reimbursement.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards, cash, or check. Payment is due at time of service.
